If your a homeowner in BC, this may not have been on your mind.
You have two days to file the Speculation Tax Declaration, due March 31, 2020.
If you own property in British Columbia, you would have received a letter earlier this year for the speculation and vacancy tax, which is separate from Vancouver’s empty homes tax. You must declare for both taxes.
To declare you will need 2 numbers: Declaration Code + Letter ID.
